Tomero is our range of varietal wines, elaborated with grapes sourced from Finca Don Antonio. They showcase the typicity of the terroir of Los Árboles, in Tunuyán, Uco Valley. The vineyards in this estate were planted in 1981 by Don Antonio Pulenta, Carlos’ father and Paula’s grandfather. The careful and painstaking cultivation of our plots guarantees that we produce the best grapes for each of our wines.
" TOMERO pays homage to the noble work of the Tomero, a true guardian of the melt water flowing downhill from the Andes mountain range. The job of the Tomero, distributing and channeling the water by means of sluice gates, is essential for every grower in Mendoza to have access to irrigation resources for their crops. The protection and optimization of the use of water are closely related to the values of the Tomero, who, from an early age learns his trade from his parents and grandparents, inheriting a proudly cherished tradition. From their youth, the children of Tomeros watch their fathers do their work with dedication and passion. "
